missingWrote a review on 07 Augclean roomsfull english breakfastcomfortable stay
We had an amazing weekend with friends! We enjoyed exploring the nearby water skiing and windsurfing spots. The place was clean and had comfy rooms. The full English breakfast was a highlight. Just make sure to have a spot to dry your wet gear if you're adventuring outdoors!
Unfortunately, another group had our booked rooms and left us without accommodation. It was frustrating, as we had planned everything well in advance.

missingWrote a review on 31 Julwater uncertainty
The bar area could use a bit of warmth, particularly on those chilly nights, although it's understandable given the zero-degree weather outside. After a day trekking in torrential rain, having a designated spot to dry our wet clothes would have really hit the mark and made the experience just a touch more convenient. As it stood, the lack of clarity on whether the bathroom water was drinkable led to some awkward moments asking for more jugs to be filled up.

we stayed at posting house for two nights in a lovely double room. it was quiet, and we had a fantastic sleep. the landlady and waitress were very welcoming, making us feel right at home. plus, it's a short drive to keswick and derwent water, which is a lovely bonus for exploring the area.
